Later menopause due to more Sex?

Women who are weekly or monthly are sexually active, have come, according to a new study by the University College London a lower risk of early menopause: In the case of 28 percent of the exchange years in comparison to their peers sexually inactive women had not yet begun.

Of 2,936 women with an average age of 45 years, were observed over ten years. They were mostly married or in a committed relationship (78 per cent) and lived together with their Partner (68 percent). Most of them were weekly sexually active (64 percent), and at the beginning of the study none of them are in menopause. 46 per cent of them were in the early Menopause, when the cycle changes and hot flashes showed.

Within the following ten years 1.324 (45 percent) of the women had, on average, of 52 years of their last menstrual period. It showed that women of comparable age who had weekly Sex, came up with a 28 percent lower probability in the menopause than women who were less than once per month are sexually active. Among those who were once per month sexually active, the likelihood was 19 percent lower.

The study author, Dr. Megan Arnot cites a possible explanation for why the Timing of the menopause, the likelihood of a pregnancy to adjust might: "The results of our study suggest that the body of a woman decides not to invest in ovulation, if she has no Sex and no Chance of a pregnancy.
