Baby No. 2! ‘The Walking Dead’ Star Steven Yeun’s Wife Gives Birth

Congratulations! Steven Yeun and his wife, Joana Pak, added a second baby to their brood on Tuesday, April 30.

The photographer, 32, made the announcement on Instagram, sharing a sweet photo of the newborn resting on her chest in the hospital. The little one wore a white onesie and a striped hat. In the second shot, the newborn slept with a smile.

The Walking Dead alum, 35, and the photographer already share 2-year-old son, Jude, who was born on Saint Patrick’s Day 2017.

The couple revealed that they were expecting their second child together in December 2018 when Pak posted a mirror selfie to social media. The Arkansas native lifted up her shirt to reveal a bare baby bump.

Pak and the actor tied the knot in Los Angeles in December 2016. Some of Yeun’s former costars attended the ceremony, including Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln, Melissa McBride, Sarah Wayne Callies, Chandler Riggs, Emma Bell and Alanna Masterson.

Pak’s sister shared the news on social media with an Instagram upload of the bride and groom. “Getting to celebrate the love between these two, last night, along with all their friends and family was so beautiful and special!!” Kayce Pak wrote at the time. “This whole week has been an awesome, family-filled, fun time and it’s been so great! (We’ve also gained a brother in-law from it!) #loveyouguys #pakpack.”

Yeun is best known for playing Glenn Rhee on The Walking Dead until he was killed off in season 7’s premiere.

In October 2017, the Sorry to Bother You star admitted he wasn’t satisfied with the AMC role. “I won’t speak for other Asian American actors, because I don’t know what they’re being offered,” Yeun told Slate at the time. “But for me, it’s like: nice guy, dependable, supportive, benign. Beige. As a Korean man, I am not beige. I felt beige with Glenn. That was a little bit of the frustration that I could never explain to the wider society, to fans of the show.”
