Data from Nuffield Department of Population Health at Oxford University shows 73 percent of Asian women, 86 per ent of black women and 65 percent of white women were unvaccinated when giving birth in October 2021.
Numbers were highest in deprived areas of Britain.
The charity Wellbeing of Women, which helped to fund the study, called for “urgent action” to address “stark racial and social inequalities” among pregnant women.
