Emily Ratajkowski shared the first-ever photo of her son Sylvester, and holy cow, is he cute.
The model shared an Instagram photo of the darling 6-month-old boy whom she shares with husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. In the pic, the boy wears a blue-and-orange sweater emblazoned with the nickname “Sly” and a red baseball hat. “You’re an angel,” read Ratajkowski’s caption. Until today, the couple had not shown the boy’s face on social media, although he has been depicted snuggling with his mom in a few Instagram pics.

Ratajkowski, however, has been easing back into work since giving birth. She attended this year’s Met Gala, where she wore a Vera Wang gown and discussed the changes she’s experienced since becoming a mom. “Having my body bring life into the world and grow life totally changed my perspective on everything,” said Ratajkowski, who also walked in the Versace and Savage Fenty X fall shows.

The model has also shared photos of herself nursing her little one, remarking in April, “If it seems like I’m always breastfeeding it’s because I am.”
Ratajkowski is also adding another title to her resume this year: published author. Her upcoming book of essays is titled My Body and explores the commodification of women’s bodies. According to publisher Macmillan, the book is “…a profoundly personal exploration of feminism, sexuality, and power, of men’s treatment of women and women’s rationalizations for accepting that treatment.” We can’t wait to read it!
