Bookworms, prepare to swoon, because Joanna Gaines just shared photos of her literary-themed baby shower — and yes, it’s as amazing as it sounds. Gaines has a stellar group of friends who organized the festivities, which included a massive pile of books and blue, green, yellow and white balloons.
“I like big books and I cannot lie – Blown away by the creativity and thoughtfulness of my friends – just the cutest book shower ever for baby Gaines!” the expecting mom captioned an Instagram post. ““Feelin’ the love… now I just need to figure out how to shove these books in my car so I can get them to the farm! #babygotbooks.”

Chip and Joanna Gaines announced in January that they’re expecting their fifth child, who will join big sibs Drake, 13, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 8. They later shared that the newest addition to the family will be a boy, and Chip is looking for baby name suggestions that begin with the letter D — so if you’ve got any ideas, now’s the time to share them. I mean, wouldn’t “Named Chip and Joanna Gaines’ son” be an excellent addition to any résumé?
Regardless of his name, we really hope Baby Gaines is destined to be a bookworm. No pressure or anything, but he’s got lots of great reads waiting for him when he arrives.
