Well, folks, it appears that Kim Kardashian is officially a member of the medium-brown hair club. After months of sticking with her signature nearly-noir hue, the beauty mogul has gone for a decidedly lighter brown look that's not too dissimilar to the shade her young sis Kylie Jenner is currently repping.
Naturally, the reality star's go-to hair guy Chris Appleton is behind her new hair color — as a matter of fact, he was the first one to reveal the transformation on Instagram. On Friday night, he posted a stunning shot of Kardashian with her hair flowing down her back, all the way down to her butt, along with the caption: "Who's into the Shiny lighter brown hair today with @kimkardashian 💫."
Later in the evening, Kardashian showed off her new look in a series of Instagram photos in which she's wearing Matthew M. Williams' first Givenchy collection. In addition to the aforementioned shot that Appleton shared, she also posted two other photos of herself posing in the gorgeous clothing, with her ultra-long hair on full display.
In the second and third photos, you can clearly tell how much lighter the star's hair really is. One might call it a milk chocolate brown, whereas her old hair color was definitely on the dark chocolate end of the spectrum.
The last time that Kim K. spiced up her hair was back in June when she dyed it fire-engine red for a short stint, so it's definitely cool to see her experiment with a different look again. That being said, as always, there's no telling how long she'll keep this hair color around — though we sure hope she gives it at least a few weeks because it's a seriously beautiful shade on her.
