British researchers have concluded that drinking pomegranate juice helps to cope with stress at work. Scientists from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh conducted a study in which volunteers drank half a liter of pomegranate juice daily for two weeks canadianpharmtabs.com.
At the beginning and at the end of the experiment, the subjects were interviewed, finding out their emotional state, and recorded the pulse rate. It turned out that during the study, the subjects had a significantly improved working spirit and stabilized pulse, as well as increased activity and productivity.
Experts believe that this effect gives a high content of antioxidants in pomegranate juice. It consists of provitamin A, a group of vitamins B: B1, B2, B6, vitamin C, organic acids, trace elements of magnesium, silicon, copper, phosphorus, potassium, the scientists explained.
