Whether you’re sleeping on your back, front or side, believe it or not, there are so many ways to get comfy in bed.
So, which one is correct? And which sleeping position is the best?
Earlier this week, Allan Bell shared a photo showing 18 different ways to sleep in bed on Twitter.
Alongside the image, he wrote: “I'm a No. 9, which are you? (Also if anyone says they are a 13 just what are you doing lol)."
The photo secured 13,200 likes and thousands of retweets since it was posted on Monday – and it’s got pretty much everyone talking.

One said: “I need photographic evidence that people sleep like number 13… I’m not having that.”
Another joked: “7 is a murder scene, 16 is in the casket. 13 is probably what you do to the neighbour’s wife to get there.”
A third commented: “Whomever is 15 probably murders people during the day.”
While a fourth added: “Legit every single one every single night. Except for #10. #10 is hilarious. That person is dead… which… shouldn't be funny? Shouldn't be funny.”
And a fifth posted: “If you haven’t slept like no 10 you’ve never partied before.”

Neil Stanley, author of How To Sleep Well, said the most common way for adults is the foetal position, which is on the side with the knees tucked.
But it so happens that sleeping on your back is actually the “ideal position” as it reduces pressure on the muscles and joints.
Sleep counsellor Sammy Margo added: “Try not to sleep on your front, it’s the worst position for deep rest.
"If you sleep on your side, put a pillow between your legs, as this aligns your hips so you’re less likely to be disturbed by back pain.
"I encourage patients to learn to sleep on their back, with a pillow under the knees. There’s less strain on your body, you don’t crease and age your skin and your night creams absorb and work better."
