Settle down, take a deep breath, and prepare to see quite possibly the cutest baby and animal moment of all time. And that’s no small feat. Remember those precious photos of Patrick and Brittany Mahomes‘ daughter Sterling Mahomes hugging their dog when she was a baby?
Meghan Trainor shared an Instagram post on Tuesday that documented her family’s time at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney.
“Best day ever…🥹🦘💖,” the singer captioned the carousel.
The first photo is a sweet shot of Trainor, her husband Daryl Sabara, and their son Riley, 2. Trainor and Sabara are rocking casual wear paired with sneakers and baseball caps, while Riley shows off a pair of kid Crocs and his signature blue glasses.
Next up is a picture of the smiley toddler giving his mom a big hug before they head to the main attraction: the giraffes! Riley then is passed off to Sabara, and the two feed a carrot to a giraffe that towers over them and sticks out its tongue in anticipation, much to Riley’s delight. The videographer (Meghan, we think!) then feeds a carrot to their own long-necked mammal.
The family is then seen feeding some sort of marsupial, and their last family shot (hopefully their 2023 holiday card) is photo bombed by a koala! We seriously can’t stand how adorable the whole thing is, and commenters agreed wholeheartedly.

“How fun!!” commented actor Mandy Moore.
“Riley is an ICON ✨,” said Australian Idol. (We don’t disagree!).
“aaawwww you guys are ADORABLE!!!” said dancer Maesi Caes.
“Cutest ever!!!!!!! 😍😍😍” said CEO Allison Statter. (We told ya!).
The only possible way this could get cuter is if the family recreates the trip when Baby Number 2 is born. Trainor and Sabara announced their pregnancy in January during a virtual appearance on The Today Show.
Trainor recently wrote a book for mothers called Dear Future Mama: A TMI Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, and Motherhood from Your Bestie and gave the Today audience a sneak peak.
“You want to see the book?” Trainor asked. “It comes with a baby!”
On the inside cover, Trainor had taped an ultrasound picture and the words “Baby #2 Coming Summer 2023.” The soon-to-be mama of two stood up with a big smile and revealed her growing bump for the camera amidst excited gasps. Sabara then sweetly jumps in the frame to give his wife a hug and kiss.
The “Dear Future Husband” singer has been open with fans about wanting to become pregnant in the new year, and was looking for signs that she might have a bun in the oven. When she finally took a test, there was no question that Riley was going to be a big brother.
“That sh*t lit up so fast,” Trainor said in an emotional reaction video she shared with followers.
These celeb families wouldn’t be complete without their furry friends.
