It turns out that how you snuggle up to your partner at night can directly affect your chances of getting lucky or not. Bedding company Mattress Advisor has conducted a survey of 1,000 people to uncover their likes and dislikes when it comes to sleeping, uncovering some interesting trends that could come in very handy in the bedroom.
When looking at the results, it’s obvious that women are quite keen on physical contact when it comes to their preferred sleeping position with their partners, however are resoundingly opposed to being the ‘big spoon’. In fact it seems that spooning altogether may not be on the cards, with ‘little spoon’ ranking second in the most annoying positions according to the women surveyed.
The survey also analysed how likely couples were to have sex according to their sleeping position. Participants were asked how likely they were to have sex in each position, giving a score out of 5. When sleeping face to face, the subjects identified that there was a 4.2/5 chance that they would have sex that night. This was followed in second by spooning with a 3.7 chance out of 5, however based on earlier evidence and how annoyed women are by any kind of spoon situation, this may indicate that sex arises as a way to break the sleeping position.
Abide by the list below if you’d like to up your chances tonight.
