It’s natural for guys to think they might not be doing enough to satisfy their partner. The pressure of making sure we orgasm is only compounded by the thought of premature ejaculation.
Now, a new study has put the dudes to shame: one in every four women would prefer to rub one off than have sex.
In a survey featuring nearly 1000 people, Superdrug Online Doctor researched the masturbation habits of men and women.
While it’s no secret the majority of guys are partial to a bit of self-love, it’s our habits that have the scientists well and truly scratching their heads. From the poll, 96 per cent of men did the deed four times a week while a surprising 88 per cent of women took part two days a week. When it came to how, 60 per cent of women preferred their hand to a toy while 90 cent of men literally tugged.
Most interestingly, the study found that females didn’t need material nearly as much as men. Only 38 per cent of us had to watch porn compared to nearly twice as much men. Funnily, when it came to fantasising, 14 per cent of women thought about our partner, 12 per cent about a stranger and 6 per cent about a friend.
However, there is one stat both genders have in common: A quarter of males and females had done in public – 15 per cent at work and 15 per cent at a friend’s house.
But just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for the men, think again. Sorry fellas, but 56 per cent of women had better orgasms when they flew solo instead of sex.
Literal proof, girls do it best.
