Mariah Carey’s twins’ family is growing! And no, it’s not because their dad Nick Cannon — Mariah’s ex-husband and dad of 12 — is expecting another baby (that we know of). Monroe and Moroccan now have two more fur babies (fur siblings?)! The singer shared pictures of her and her 12-year-old twins on Twitter, including one of them and two kitty cats.
“Summer prolonged… even though I try, I can’t let go! Introducing #DemKittens, the new adopted family members: Nacho & Rocky Jr,” she tweeted.
In the photo, Moroccan holds one of the striped orange cats and Monroe holds the other. They stand next to their mom, and all three have huge smiles on their faces. What a sweet family!
Followers agree, with comments like, “AWW. WE LOVE THE NEW FAMILY MEMBERS. They’re already icons,” “Dem kittens literally won the supreme jackpot, they’re adorable,” and “OMG MARIAH!! It’s been a while since we’ve seen you with a cat.”
Because ICYMI: Carey is a huge animal lover. Fans were quick to share old photos of the “Always Be My Baby” singer with cats, calling her the “queen of cats” and asking for “another cat photoshoot.”
In July, Carey shared pictures of her and her kids bonding with a much different animal. The three spent the day at the horse stables, and the whole thing was so laid back and casual, which was nice to see from the notoriously glam singer.
“Daytime excursion with DemTwins ❤️,” she captioned the post.
In 2021, Carey and the kiddos included their pups in a funny video remake of her song, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” In the video, Carey sang the holiday classic in front of their Christmas tree. “All I want for Christmas is…,” she said, letting her kids finish the iconic line. “You!” they howled, prompting their pups to bark along with them.
Now we’re left wondering if Nacho and Rocky Jr. will make it into the next family music video. Can we please submit a formal request for “Hero” with the kittens?! There has to be a way to fit a “meow” in there.
These celeb families wouldn’t be complete without their furry friends.
